Upon landing, our guide will meet you and transfer you to the lodge near airport for the briefing of the safari, diner and overnight. Meal plan: dinner.
Depart from your lodge on day 1 and drive to Tanzania’s largest protected area. Selous game reserve covers about 50,000 square kilometers. You will spend two days viewing animals and sailing in Rifiji River. Overnights and meals of the days will be at a lodge within or on the periphery of the park.
Drive from Selous Game Reserve to Mikumi national park, a small but rich in animals. An afternoon tour in the national park will be feasible. Overnight will be in a lodge within the national park. Meal plan: breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner.
Morning tour in Mikumi national park. At around midday you will drive to Selous national park, the largest national park in Tanzania, where you will dine and overnight within the national park. Meal plan: breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner.
You will spend two days exploring the biggest national park in the country. The park covers about 20,000 square kilometers it is one of the least visited national park. Overnights will be within the national park. Meal plan: breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner.
Morning tour in Ruaha national park then drive to Mbeya city in Tanzania’s Southern highlands for overnight. Along the ways you see trees plantations, tea plantations and vast farming lasnds. Overnight will be in a lodge in Mbeya city. Meal plan: breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner.
Depart after an early breakfast and drive to Katavi national park. The pristine national park receives the least number of clients due to its geographical location. Overnight will be in a lodge within the national park.
Spend the entire day in Katavi national park. Overnight will be in a lodge in the park. Meal plan: breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner.
Early morning tour in Katavi then drive to Mahale Mountains national park on the shores of Lake Tanganyika. Lake Tanganyika is the world’s deepest lake. Overnight will be at a lodge within the national park.
You will spend the day searching and watching the closest relatives of human beings. The search could take time, trekking mountains and crossing valleys, but, upon their encounter, watching is limited to one hour per day. Overnight will be at a lodge within the national park.
After breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to Kigoma town where you will spend the night at Hill Top Lodge on the shores of Lake Tanganyika.
