Pick up by our driver guide in accompany of our office representative for a final briefing. Drive to Masai Mara game reserve in our customized 4×4 safari jeep, a brief stopover at the Great Rift valley viewpoint for photography, and then proceed to Masai Mara. Arrive and check-in at the camp for lunch then enjoy your first game drive in this world-famous reserve which is an extension of Serengeti National Park of Tanzania. At s some point during your stay in Mara; you will be driven by the river which is a great place to spot wildlife. This area is a photographer delight where with any luck you will be able to take amazing pictures of the hippos and crocodiles in the water. The small size funnels animals into a tight space; park rules allow for off-road driving which means that guests can venture into plains with hundreds and thousands of animals. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, check out with a picnic lunch to spend the whole day in the park in search of wild game. Masai Mara offers wonderful scenery and plenty of game. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where a visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. Africa has a long history of capturing the imagination of travelers; a continent of dramatic contrasts that gives you an unforgettable and remarkable experience. The afternoon is spent on a game drive in search of the black manned lions which the park is famous for. A lion making a kill can be witnessed in the late afternoon or a leopard in a tree enjoying the meal he has dragged up to avoid disturbance and detection. There is a particularly dramatic spectacle from July to October, the annual migration of huge herds of Gnus and Zebras, predators such as Hyenas, Jackals, Leopards, and Lions closely follow these herds. The plain is literally covered with these animals.
After breakfast, morning game viewing in Maasai Mara with the chance to see the Big 5 probably on a hunting mission. Soak in the abundance of untamed wilderness, fresh and natural scenery, filled with exotic wildlife during our expertly guided game drives enjoyed in open vehicles. Check out and drive back to Nairobi arriving late in the afternoon. Drop off at your hotel or transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
